Hime wants intimacy but he refuses, fearing the spell’s flaws. Saphir notes their lack of trust hinders his strength. When an Abyss spider invades, Granart asks Satou to kiss her to awaken her magic. With Hime’s reluctant approval, he does, and Granart gains fire powers to slay the spider—hinting the Abyss King’s growing strength.
