Bud returns to his home planet, but is attacked and killed by Salamander. The same happens to Pumpkin and Doug. On their way home, Cobra thinks he sees Dominique, but she says that she is Miral Judd, Guru of the Sect of Elrado. Cobra, now more vengeful than ever, heads for Salamander's home Planet Valentine, and the Elrado Shrine. He arrives at the shrine and is welcomed by Miral who says they are preparing to fire a huge figure of the Shido Goddess into space as a symbol of peace and freedom...
