Cobra, Doug and Pumpkin.arrive at Bud's polar laboratory. Earlier, Bud was captured and Salamander's forces prepared a trap. Cobra's vehicle is attacked and destroyed by walking war units. Only what appears to be Cobra's lifeless body is retrieved. Left alone, the body transforms into Doug. Bud saw through Doug's disguise with his enhanced seeing, hearing and smelling skills. However Bud is happy with his life on Neptura and his partner Elsa, and refuses to join them in their mission...
