Yoshino returns to her hometown, Sanae goes to visit friends back in Tokyo, Maki goes to see one of Moe's plays, and Shiori and Ririko work on a proposal to turn Manoyama's empty houses into bed and breakfasts. Sanae goes drinking with her friends, who discuss the difficulties of office work and building their own businesses, and they note that Sanae seems more self confident and assured since they last saw her...
