D goes to lunch with Sesera but stops to save a boy named Chidori getting arrested by the police, who think he is behind a string of missing persons cases. After finding out Chidori lied about having a sibling who went missing, D is convinced Peltrola is behind it. Later, D reports to Ranger HQ with Usukubo. There, they meet with Hisui, who informs them that they have been assigned to the Green Squadron and that their job is to hunt down the remaining Boss Monsters.
