After raiding the school for band members, they end up enlisting Maaya (Guitar), Sumiko (Bass), Kyōko (Drums), Tanako herself (Keyboard) and Rurumo as the Vocalist, and also Masako as a costume designer, who suggests them to use costumes similar to Rurumo's, since it matches the Mysterious Discovery Club's theme. They do well, in the auditions, but when Rurumo realizes she'll have to sing in front of many people, she is unable to go on. Kōta decides to sing in her place, only to realize he's tone deaf, giving the band a bad score. Later, Rurumo sings to Kōta alone.
