An exhibition of Meirin's home life and classmates gives way to Meirin encountering consecutive mishaps throughout the school day whenever she tries to approach Asuka; the divination ritual signaling a yellow watering can prior to the home commute becomes the ironic deus ex machina for Meirin to finally make time with Asuka after she intercedes for him to avert a construction accident and ultimately have demonstrated that there is more than one way to read a premonition.
