After arriving, the five are given arduous chores to do in temple, and they later enjoy a bath in the hot springs. Sumi and Hinata notice a spirit watching them. It is revealed that the spirit is controlled by two rogue monks, who are against Jotoku and want to use Ikkou's awakened power. Chitose prevents Ikkou from awakening while Sumi and Hinata successfully exorcise the spirit.
