Jeanne refused to hand her over, so the knights assaulted Jeanne and suddenly El's neutralizing power was activated. They fled to Anatae where Jeanne cut off El's wings enabling him live among the demons while she was soon captured and incarcerated. Motivated by their desires to see Mugaro, Nina and Jeanne decide to escape from prison even though nobody had ever succeeded.
