Their first test involves chasing down paper butterflies before they get soaked by roaming rainclouds. As the other classmates manage to catch their butterflies, Mirai chases after hers into a constantly shifting labyrinth of bookshelves, where she is attacked by another of Dokuroxy's minions, Gamets, who summons a Shark Yokubal. After Mirai and Riko reunite with each other, they are drawn towards a particular book before transforming to fight the Yokubal. After the girls defeat the Yokubal and retrieve their butterfly, the book they found transforms and gives birth to a small baby fairy.
