Shortly after entering high school, Takeo rescues a girl named Rinko Yamato from being molested on the train. He ends up getting suspended from school after punching the molester at the police station. Rinko, thankful for her rescue, takes an interest in Takeo and offers to bake various treats for him, though Takeo assumes that Makoto is the one she likes.
