After all this ordeal, he goes to the only place he thinks he can find peace: Maruo's Duel Master store. However, he gives him a moral sermon about his behavior and his attitude towards the game. Maruo unpacks some of his favorite old-school stories to help Shobu understand what the game is all about. The stories about Maruo and his father, Shori Kirifuda, show him the right path again. It's not all black and white, and winning isn't everything. "If you believe in yourself, you always win". He takes this wise sentence to heart from now on, confronts Kokujoh and challenges him to a rematch. A bitter fight begins and the two rivals give each other nothing.
