Hinano Kurahashi encourages Karasuma to rescue Irina, who was taken in by Lovro after her parents were killed in a civil war when she was a child. The students manage to remove the neck braces in time and camouflage from being seen in the live camera feed. Karasuma gets the drop on The Reaper and confronts him in close quarters combat. After being shot by The Reaper with a hidden gun in his index finger, Karasuma is saved by one of Koro-sensei's tentacles, allowing Karasuma to deliver the knockout blow. Afterwards, the students convince Irina to return as their teacher, while Karasuma gets the government to ensure that the students will remain safe from other assassins pursuing the bounty.
