The Chinese Shinobi master Chung I warns him that the Dragon Lord has caused the Dream Realm to become unstable and is trying to use this disruption as a way to enter the real world. Chung I sends his hooded prized pupil, Mai Pai Chi, from China to New York City to help the now-trapped Splinter. When removing her hood, it is revealed that she is also a mutant turtle.
