Meanwhile, Shark encounters more visions while Abyss summons his namesake, Number 73: Abyss Splash. Astral and Dumon are brought into one of Shark's visions, in which Rio sacrificed herself to help Shark fight off Vector, leading to the realization that both Shark and Rio are the missing, former Barian Emperors. As Abyss attempts to sacrifice Rio in the same manner, Yuma manages to save her while Shark becomes able to summon Rio's Number card, Number 94: Crystal Zero, and win the duel. As Shark receives Abyss' card, everyone returns to the ship, but Rio remains unconscious.
