After hearing that Billy found his in Bakugan Valley, she decides to head there to search for her own. She goes around the valley but comes home frustrated that she couldn't find a Bakugan of her own. She then finds one in her room after admitting to herself that she was lonely and wanted a friend. The bakugan's name is Gorem and together they re-challenge Billy. Although the beginning is rocky, when the truly massive Gorem and Julie work together in the end they beat Cycloid and Billy.
