Kanon is reinvigorated by her newfound confidence only to find Keke distraught over her proposal to form a school idol club having been rejected by Ren Hazuki. Kanon enlists her friend Chisato Arashi to find out any weakness Ren may have that she may exploit, but nothing comes to light. Kanon and Keke draw up a petition to gain support for the club's formation, and after talking with the headmistress, she agrees to let them form the club if they can get first place in an upcoming local school idol festival...
