Bam recalls how he was amnesiac and all alone in a dark cave until Rachel came and took care of him, including teaching him about the world and how to be literate. On the second floor, Bam encounters two other contestants Khun Aguero Agnis and Rak Wraithraiser. Both recognize the Black March due to a symbol on its hilt, which interests Khun greatly and makes Rak determined to hunt Bam down to become stronger.
