Episode Description:
Takechiyo discovers Aoi is Shiro’s granddaughter and shows her picture books of Shiro’s feats. Aoi gets him interested in food by cooking Shiro’s favorite dishes, and with Ritsuko’s help they gather ingredients in Tsukinome. Takechiyo enjoys the meal, and Aoi writes the recipes for him. After reading his books, Aoi dreams of Shiro’s past and learns he fought Oni-no-gashima’s demons with three allies he rewarded with macarons, inspiring her to make some for Takechiyo. While shopping, Sasuke hides her from a Daikokushi Confections ship, explaining its leader Zakuro hates ogres and causes trouble for Tenjin-ya. Then Ougon-douji’s voice pulls Aoi into a smoky portal, where she unlocks a room with an obsidian obelisk and hears Odanna’s apology. A second door leads to a cemetery, where Raiju appears.
