The group manages to secure an airplane after escaping Venice, with Abbacchio using Moody Blues to fly the plane by replaying its pilot. As they prepare to leave, Mista shoots down a hostile Stand user named Carne before he can reach them. During the flight, Giorno discovers that Carne's Stand Notorious B.I.G. has activated after his death and the flesh-eating blob attaches itself to his arm. The Stand tracks its foes by their movement and then absorbs their energy. After it severely injures Mista and Narancia because of their movement, Giorno manages to dispose of it at the cost of his arms...
