Having noticed that Kourin has also disappeared like Aichi, Kai goes to Card Shop PSY to look for possible clues. There, he meets Olivier Gaillard, the champion of the Vanguard European Circuit. When Gaillard states he knows Aichi, Kai assumes he is an ally. However, Gaillard reveals that he is one of the Quatre Knights and tells Kai to stop his search for Aichi, but he refuses.
