Team 7 had managed to escort Katasuke to the scientific ninja tools research facility without incident, but to Boruto's surprise, there is one more thing still left for them to do. Though initially reluctant to help the facility's team of scientists that includes his former classmate Sumire tests the tools they are developing, Boruto finds himself starting to enjoy the process, his stance on scientific ninja tools swayed by how obviously passionate the scientists in the facility are about using them to better people's lives. Their stay there was cut short however, when Naruto called to bestow upon the team an urgent new assignment.
