Kikyo Private Academy and Chidori Public High School are complete opposites—Kikyo is an elite school for noble girls, while Chidori is known for its rowdy delinquents.
Rintarou Tsumugi, a tall Chidori student with a scary look but kind heart, meets Kaoruko Waguri when she visits his family’s patisserie. After a misunderstanding, she returns to apologize, and they quickly grow close. Rintarou values that Kaoruko sees past his appearance—but when he learns she’s from Kikyo, their bond is tested by the social divide between their schools.
