Honest assigns Esdeath to track down various Danger Beasts, which have appeared in forests and mines. Bols saves two merchants from being attacked by Humanoid Danger Beasts, but Wave witnesses the merchants being terrified of Bols due to his fearsome appearance. Later, Bols explains that despite his nice personality, he used to be an executioner and burned down many infested villages.
