He assures them that he has no intention of harming them, despite considering leaving them for their own safety. However, after coming with the group to their field trip on an island facility, Gyukimon begins losing control of himself and bits some of Hiro's classmates while growing in size. The group manages to restore him to his rookie form, with Bakumon restoring the injected humans and altering their memories of the incident.
