Vega also hears of this serum and wants to use it to make himself eternally young. Vega captures the scientist and holds him for ransom. Blanka is forced to give Vega the cure in exchange for the doctor's life, but Vega drops the vial of serum in the ensuing chaos, losing his chance at immortality.
