Ryo and Xiang Ying question the locals about Miki, when suddenly they hear the girl has been hit by a car. While Miki is in the clinic they realize that she has been waiting for her mother to return. Miki returns to her quarters and after Xiang Ying calms her, Miki sees Kaori appear before her.
